100% Het Pied Male, tell me what you see

    Hello,

I am new here. I recently purchased my first ball python a month ago. It is a 100% HET PIED male from a reputable breeder. I was reading the "what is a pied" thread ( http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...eds-%28Jinx%29 ) and became fascinated with what might be going on with my new guy, Junior. The Sire that created Junior was a mystic, and his mom was a pied female. I was hoping you pros could look over my pictures of my new guy and point out any cool markings you see. Are there any Mystic type characteristics you see? He was sold to me as a "normal" het pied. Any other characteristics that would denote another morph? Let me know what you think of him. pics below.

    Thanks for any input.

I don't see mystic, but do see the het pied belly tracks. I believe he is a normal het pied.

Thanks for all your comments. Yeah I thought he was just a normal, but thought I would throw it out there since I am new. This summer I want to try and get a YB het pied or a pastel het pied female.

He would work out great with with a YB het Pied girl! I am a much bigger fan of YB Pieds than Pastel Pieds as well...

Hijinx - thanks for that input. I was wondering which would be better, pastel or YB. I am going to look into YB more. I saw a great "pumpkin pied" from J Kobylka on you tube I think those oranges it can create are the way to go for sure.

I'd go for the YB het pied, as well. YB genes will always have a place in my heart, and put pied on top of that-- those are some fun odds!

    Lovely boy, MVP.
