    Possible infection? Need some help!

My mojave just shed and I did not realize before shed that he had a weird bump my his spur. It is purple and soft, almost feels like a blood blister. If someone could help that'd be great!

It does look like there is something going on.

Is he being bred this year? Do you use a substrate with bits that could have gotten trapped when he was scenting?

Can you pop him at all?

If you can I think it might be worth getting some advice from a vet to prevent any infection.
