Just thought I would share some pic for those of you who like savs. He was only like 4 inches long when I brought him home, a tiny little hatchling, he is not about 8 inches long... I just LOVE him! He is an interesting creature. Enjoy the pics! Sorry they are not the best quality at the moment, he was having a bad day- so his nick name was Grumpy at the moment and I had such a hard time getting pics. LOL

Cricket hunting! Or shall I say playing Cricket?

Hiding from me! At least he thought so.

    Thanks Guys!

Will- he is pretty cool. I do enjoy him immensly.. but got to say- you do have to have respect for them, you cannot ever under estimate them, or figure you can trust them 100%. I wont even let my kids touch him, I am afraid he will tag them. He has gotten kinda use to me, so even my hubby is a bit scared and totally respectful of him. He is always telling my I am fearless and a bit nuts since I really dont have much fear. My hubby is afraid he will get bit, I just kind accept that there are days I really should not mess with him, and days I can push it a bit..then there are the days when he is totally cool. I have even accepted that more than likely, eventually, I will get bit- but I take it as a risk I knowingly brought onto myself when I got him. In any case, if you got one, I think you would like them.

Ironhead- LOL, he was pretty Grumpy when I was trying to get pics, but you almost have to laugh at this point cause he is kinda little yet.

He was a hatchling when I got him, back in April. I suppose it makes him right around 2-3 months of age.

    My Daughters first snake...

Awesome! I love the second pic. He/She is SO cute. I have a savanah moniter, but he's huge. He's definately not a baby like that one.
