My first snake - conflicting info

What kind of snake would you say she is ? I'm completely new to this and thought I would try a good forum to get an answer. Ive read that all corn snakes are rat snakes but not all rat snakes are corn snakes. Posting a picture for help. I was told its female albino rat snake. Shes about 3.5 ft long. I don't know how old. She has a good appetite but a slightly irritable disposition. Sorry if I irritate any of you with my lack of knowledge or if I've posted this in the wrong area. Thanks for any help ! [IMG][/IMG]

Welcome, and congratulations! Yes, that looks like an albino rat snake, but I'm not sure what kind. Maybe an albino black rat? She'll be a nice-looking, active girl. Do you have anything set up for her to climb on?

Re: My first snake - conflicting info

I don't yet. I was looking into some branches for her to stretch out on. And a bigger tank. I feel like shes cramped in the 20g. She wasn't getting on well at the pet store and I felt like I just had to get her out of there. Shes a bit crabby so the employees were afraid of her and sprayed her to back her up whenever they opened her enclosure . The tip of her tail got clipped off by someone flinging the sliding glass shut on her enclosure in a panic. That was when I knew had to get her out. Any suggestions would be wonderful! I've done some research but I'd take critique without problem!
