    Can I cut the rat in half?

    You'd be surprised what they can and will eat.. You might want to spread the feeding out a little more than if you were feeding smaller prey. where's the picture of the beast in question?

    They were sold to me live and I killed them myself, I don't think they'll take them back xD
    After these 4 are up, they will be the proper size food. I had pretty much the same issue and it became a non-issue real quick.

    Yeah, I was thinking I should give him an extra day to digest and an extra 2-3 days between feedings.

    I would do 7-10 days in between with those sized meals. He'll be fine with that.
