I met a local breeder of Red Tail's here in phoenix. He also does snake rescue. His female just had 29 babies a short time ago and all are eating and seem to be very gentle. I will be picking mine up in 2 weeks and I can't wait. This will give me one BP and one rt boa. I think I will stop there for a while. I will post pics of each soon on the appropriate forums.
I know reds get larger than BP's and was wondering what others who have both types of snakes have to say about having a red tail.

Boas are easier to keep than BP's, IMO. My boa has never skipped a meal, and loves to come out and explore.

When I get my own house i want a male and female boa. I have 2 Male BPs right now but plan on getting 2 females soon. I have heard many great things about Boas and Randy knows tons about them.
    Thanks,
    Damien

I dont currently have both, but in the past I had a BP, and currently I have a redtail. As for never skipping meals, my BP never skipped one when I had him, and my redtail never has til this day. I like my Redtail more than the BP, i just like the look and feel of a redtail more i guess. i think it's all based on you, you might like your BP more than the redtail. Only you will affect that!
