Are you planning on building it yourself? Contracting a local builder? Or ordering from a retailer?

I'll be ordering my first rack in a month or so from a local builder I've met at reptile shows. Gonna be white melamine with notched shelves(SUPER STRONG), a single stack of (6) 32qt tubs with 4" THG heat tape(belly heat), no lids, room to add a front door if needed(to keep up cool side/ambient temps), and casters on the bottom for easy moving. I'm considering adding a locking system for each tub too. I plan on housing 2 males and 4 females. A perfect "start" to my collection. My snakes are a little small for a 32 qts right now, but they'll grow into them. I want my females to grow big, but I dread having to jump up to 41qt tubs. Those are HUGE!

I've been talking to a few people on here and I think ill build my own. doesn't seem to hard but it wont be as fancy as yours lol. ill build a 10 shelf for now when Im done buying supplies it should be around 90$

One hide, one small crock bowl with appropriate holes for airflow seems to be the best rack setup to me.

I know I could build it, but I'm leaving out any room for error. I've seen this guy's work and it's impressive to say the least. I'll be paying 300$ for something I can use for many many years. Another perk is that I can modify a tub slot into an incubator should I ever need to. Paper towels, a ceramic bowl, and maybe some reptile basics hides.

what side should the hide be on?

I think having the hide on the back part of the tub is best. Just feels more right, and the snake likes being further away from the "door".

I'm gonna join in on the fun! This is all of mine (Moss can be switched with small plastic container with lid, hole, moss for those smaller snakes and reptiles)!
