Little white patches on snakes nose

My three year old ball python has some small white patches on her head close to mouth. Thought is might be remments of skin, but pattern is sparadic. Concerned it might be mites. No black dots in water bowl. Haven't seen her soaking.

    Thanks

Picture is too fuzzy to say for certain but I'm suspecting either rubbing or retained shed?

What kind of substrate are you using and what is the humidity?

Not the clearest of pictures, but it looks like a little shed.

Looks like retained shed to me. Sometimes it can be really tough to get off. Best bet is to see what happens after the next shed and see if it comes off.

    Thanks

Sorry it took me awhile to respond. The cage humidity is 60% and the bedding is aspen pine. I've used the pine bedding for as long as I've had her and my other python. Will wait and see how she does in her next shed. Thanks again

I hope you mean aspen. Pine is toxic to reptiles.

Agreed here - if you are using pine, the white stuff is probably irritated/extremely dry skin, perhaps stuck shed. If you're using aspen, then it might just be dust - looks to me just like extremely dry skin around the nose.
