    Tell me what you think!

3/4 cabinet grade poplar. View-able from two sides, one side opens. The bottom has floating glass with a heat pad under it. The lights are for looks basic under cabinet lights. Maybe next time ill go LEDs. Stained to match furniture. Interior sealed using epoxy with white pigment.

Yup it just has one BP in it. Thanks for the advice on the hide. He likse to climb and wrap up by the lights. yesterday he swung down and grabbed a mouse while hanging. Ive built a ton of cages so im getting better and better. i started making them for my monitors when i came across those crittter condos.

    Thanks!

considering its for a bp...id suggest cluttering it up as well....they prefer darker cozy tight spaces...and make sure they cant actually touch the light bulbs...I would also connect the heat pad (UTH) to a thermostat to properly regulate its temperatures as they can easily get 100+ degrees if unregulated.

This is the regular heat pad that you get at petco/petsmart that has adhesive backing. it doesnt get that hot I have a temp gun

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they most certainly have and can exceed 100°…
That is solid advice for any bp enclosure. Snug hides and thermostats are a must.

That being said, you did a wonderful job on an inwall display cage. I might suggest a more display friendly species, maybe something semi arboreal though

I agree you are treading dangerous waters with an unregulated UTH highly suggesting you get a thermostat, it may save your animal from some serious burns or death.

As for the hide thing, I believe each animal is an individual and you should observe their behavior to see what they need. Most mine don't have hides, but then I got a few that have to. It does however look very empty to me, some foliage would really liven it up and provide some hiding spots, win/win.

One day I hope to do the same thing with a fish tank
