I guess I'm not quite as computer savvy as I once thought haha.

I try to log into this forum on my basement computer (networked wirelessly through a Linksys) and it says "logging you in hang tight..." but then I'm not logged in.. I assumed it was a cookie issue so I put this site on my allow all cookies list and alas to no avail. I can log in upstairs so it's not a big deal but we don't turn our A/C on until June and it's about 85 outside so it's wicked hot up here and the basement would be mighty nice Any suggestions from you more computer knowledgeable people would be appreciated!

Did you try again? Every now and then, I'll log in and it'll give that "Logging you in" screen...then bump me back out to a different log-in screen. But I've never had trouble getting in after more than two tries.

Yeah I tried 6 in a row to no avail.. then I re-started my computer (the good old cure all) and it didn't work then either. I log in and then it just brings me back to the log in screen. I tried to post a reply and it asked me to log in and i tried again but it just won't recognize me as being logged in from that basement computer. Not sure why haha.

Bummer. I have no idea why. Are you SURE you've got your log-in and password correct? Maybe try making a new account just to see if you can and see if it'll reccognize that one?

It may not be letting you log in cause you are still "technically" logged in at the other puter (if the site is still up, but minimized). And it also could have something to do with time intervals between attempted log ins from puter to puter. Other than that- I am just not sure why you would have that problem... maybe The Godfather will have an idea.

Could be security settings, could be your browser. I'd try looking for browser updates first. By the way, I leave my home computer logged in then go to work and log in there almost every day, so that shouldn't be it.
