    Is this snake blood???

So I was just cleaning out Leslie's hides because he likes to deficate in them... And noticed this red spot on the wet wipe. I inspected the underside of the hide and found a couple semi sharp points I'm working on dulling.

So after taking him out and looking over every sq inch of his body I couldn't find any wounds.

I feed f/t in a separate container, so he never kills mice or rats in his cage. Maybe some f/t blood got on him then the hide by transfer? Opinions?

Whatever it is there isn't much of it so I really wouldn't be worried. Just make sure that you remove any sharp edges and as always keep a close eye on your snake.

It actually looks pink....? Is that just the way the phone picked up the color? I've noticed that blood on a wet wipe usually becomes darker... not sure if it's bc of the ingredients on the wipe. could it be ink transfer from the newspaper?

Ya the lighting makes it look pink, its more red. Newspaper? Never touched any.

Since it is so little, I'm going to assume its transfer and just keep an eye out.

Oh my mistake in the first pic I saw paper with print in the background and thought that was what substrate you used.
