    Smile Okay have a question!

First question what is the best thing to use to weigh my snake?
second what is another good moss I could use I have sphagnum moss but it doesn't seem to stay wet very long I spray my tank everyday and it could just be my heat lamps. Any suggestions. My humidity stays about 50% and I also put a little bowl of water under the light so maybe that would help keep it up

    Re: Okay have a question!

Any kitchen scale that measures in grams is fine.

Change the heat lamp to a uth with a tstat for temp issues. It's nearly impossible to increase the humidity without cutting off ventilation.

I got a cheap kitchen gram scale at my local grocery store for $10. Any scale will work, as long as it weighs in grams. And, I use sphagnum moss. I put it in a bowl, and then I get it wet. I leave around 1/2 to 1 inch of standing water in the bottom of the bowl with the moss, and that helps it to not dry out so quickly. Just make sure to change it often and you should be good to go.
