I got this little fellow at the NVRE show this past weekend. I didnt make it to the show till about noon or so ... but i was lucky to find this little guy. He's my first boa. This was his first feeding yesterday, just a barely mobile rat pup ...

He hit it like a champ almost immediately like a champ

Screwy littly guy tried to take it upside down at first ....

After a couple of minutes ... he got the hang of it

And somewhere along the line he managed to spill his water bowl ...

I still havent come up with a name for him yet. Any suggestions??

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

Haha I just ordered my Colombian Boa.. They look great..! I got a good name for him.. Since its a " colombian " boa you can name him Escobar! .. If you know who escobar is , perfect name for a infamous colombian boa.. Good luck with your snake I hope it lasts you for years to come

Cute boa you have there. Doncha just love it when they tumble their water bowl?
Congrats on the feeding. I think you'll notice that bci's have a very strong and reliable feeding response. Mine would eat rat fuzzies all day if I kept offering them!
