How often do young BPs shed?

i have an assumed female ball python of 9 or 10 months old and she shed about three weeks ago, the first time since i brought her home. im wondering how often do they generally shed at this age? ive read that they grow about 3 feet in the first 3 years of life and grow slower after that so im just curious as to how often she will most likely shed at this age!
    thanks everyone

Every 4-6 weeks on average, but the amount of food that they eat will control how often they shed.

Re: How often do young BPs shed?

Shed cycles depend on growth rate. Not really age.
Every snake grows at a different pace.
I have 4 girls that are the same age grow at totally different rates. One outgrew the others by 1000 grams in less than a year on the same size food and eating schedule.
They all shed differently as a result of the growth rate difference.

A faster grower will shed more often than a slower grower. Mine range between once every 3 weeks to once every 2 months.
How much does your snake weigh?

I've noticed that BP slow their growing at around 700-1000 grams.

Sounds like a baby based on the weight.
    Probably ranging from 2-4 months.

At 10 months old, I had females between 500-1000 grams.

Do you think they are born at an inch?

hahaha no i didnt think she was born at an inch but i read on a different forum that someone else's snake was around that big at that age. because the pet store gave me practically no info ive just assumed her age and taken care of her! i know how to care for her properly so thats all good i was just majorly confused on how old she was!!
