Ok here is a pic of the babies I am looking at possibly choosing from, the seller has them labeled as BCI. Are they? The markings have me a bit confused?

Yup, definitely BCI.

Thanks for responding so quick David. I really like these guys, and he can gaurantee me a male and live arrival over night shipping. Could you please explain why some of the markings between saddles are not completely oval, or what tells you they are BCI? Thanks again! :lol:

I have no idea Eddie, but I do know this pic was taken soon after they were born. But I can say this, I have seen breeders of many snakes leave them together in groups, and it would be pretty hard to give a baby boa a place of its own considering they have lots and lots in thier litters. 50 plus! :lol:

Yes, leaving them together like that after birth is perfectly fine. Having witnessed a BCI give birth and the after-birth processes, I know this from personal experience.

The markings vary simply because thats how some boas are. BCIs are extremely variable.....no 2 look exactly alike.

Another good reason David recognized them as BCI is that their colors are a bit more drab than that of a BCC, yet without bein as dark as some other Central American species. The reason some of the markings between saddles are not completely oval is to to full or partial "widows peaks" some of those babies are showing, where the saddle has an extra little point on it, so that it looks kinda like a man's hair line when he has a widow's peak. Make sense? My female BCI has them, some prefer it as it isn't quite as common in BCI. I think it looks pretty cool, but love circlebacks too.
