future housing requirments
Depending on a lot of factors (feeding amounts, schedule, health issues, etc), many BP's will be adult size within 2 years or so. A 30 gallon aquarium would be adequate for an adult, although I prefer to give my adults a little more floorspace than that, but I use rubbermaids/sterilites too.

Well I'd hope he wouldn't do that knowing there was a snake in the rubbermaid.

Sounds like you may be right, unless you use a clearly see-through plastic container and secure it with bungee cords and slap his hands every time he goes near it.
3.1.1 BP (Snyder, Hanover, Bo Peep, Sir NAITF, Eve), 1.2.3 Rhacodactylus ciliatus (Sandiego, Carmen, Scooby, Camo, BABIES ), 1.0 Chow (Buddha), 0.2 cats (Jezebel, PCBH "Nanners"), 0.3 humans

I can afford to get my tiger oscars a 200
One of my favorite cichlids! Big swimming teddy bears!
I keep my bp in a 30 gal. He seems happy.........he's only about 7 or 8 months old, though. I have to agree with Rplank that a little bit more floor space may be required as his hides and water dish don't leave much roamin room.

they get about full grown in 2-3 yrs. I'm actually purchasing this cage (item #T3) from Animal Plastics http://animalshare.wantapet.com/anim...ics/index.html
they even route the heat right into the cage itself and they have great customer service.
