I bought a set of snake probes and will soon be learning how to use them, from a guy at the WNY Herp Society. Have any of you ever done this or seen it done? I want to know everything possible before attempting it. I only have two snakes that needs to be "proven"; Octavia and by BCI.

It is a fairly simple procedure really nothing to be frightened of at all . Just be patient with the animal . It really is something that should be taught first hand, not something to try to explain on a forum

    Well said.

No as stated before you need to be trained properly and use a set of probes.

Gin, I see this is an older thread, did you get to learn how?
    How did it go?
    Thanks
