    Adopting a boa!

Making a trip hopefully this weekend to the reptile rescue! Hoping to find a good garbage disposal in need of a good home to spoil. This will be my first boa and I'm so excited! The shelter is overflowing with red tail boas, but we'll see what else they have before picking one. Just looking for a friendly one to make a good pet . I'll post pics if I bring anything home! Yay!

I hope so! I'm a little nervous of the thought of getting an adult, but so excited at the same time!

I got my girl as a rescue sub-adult, and she's been the most fantastic snake ever. Mellow as a slug, never refused a meal, and anyone can handle her.

Congrats on rescuing! Pics when you get him/her are a must.

Are you going to the one in Cincinnati or is there another one in Ohio that I don't know about? Wish there was on closer to me.

Going to Arrowhead reptile rescue in cincy. They don't have a shelter but operate out of many foster homes. I think there is a rescue near Dayton, but not sure.

    I'll definitely post pics ASAP!
