Ball Python Mouth Infection

I noticed my female mojave females lip looked odd last night. Opened her mouth up and noticed the overall color of the mouth was greyish in color not bright pink. Their is also a black spot in the very front of the mouth. Has anyone had this happen and what do I do ? My temps were slightly low due to a cold winter and my humidity is a lot higher than normal could this be what caused this issue ? Also anyone know of a good vet in Southern California ? Thanks.

Not sure about a vet, someone else might know. Sounds like mouth rot, which should be treated by a vet. Most likely you will need to do a few weeks of anti-biotics and clean out the snakes mouth.

I'll get some pictures when I can don't want to further stress her out. I'm pretty sure it is mouth rot. Her mouth has 2 reddish black spots and look very similar to blood blisters. Slightly swollen head . No cheesy puss or excess mucus. Overall color of mouth greyish in color. Cleaned out her mouth with peroxide and leaving her be for a while.

When cleaning out her mouth noticed a little bit of blood in the gum line.
