I had never heard of them until Mike posted about them - I am VERY intrigued? I've been trying to research but can't find any really good places. Do they sell these as pets or are the still trying to raise the population numbers? Any info would be great - here is a link to Mike's post. http://www.ball-pythons.net/PNphpBB2...ic-t-2616.html

    Angolan Pythons?

Angolan Pythons are still fairly uncommon in US collections....they are closely elated to Balls, in fact NERD successfully crossed the 2 species in the past. I don't know much about the care of the species, but I know that they're very expensive, lol.

Until the 20+ years of strife in the Angola area subsides I'd guess they will remain one of the harder to attain species. I remember doign a report on Angola and mercenaries waaaay back in high school. Damn - I was wearing checkerboard patterned VANS at the time if that gives you an idea how long ago it was lol.

True dat - I still think laces suck . . . ok yeah so I'm just a lazy flatfoot who likes comfortable footwear.

Doesnt say much for myself that all the progress I have made in the past 21 years amounts from having gone from this

Back on the subject - they are some mighty fine looking snakes - especially like how consistent their "mask" is with BP's.

They don't really do anything for me....I think they look like another BP morph. Different stroke for different folks.
