Help out some really good people...
Hi all,
I'm not sure if you've heard about this heartbreaking incident, but I'll post the link here. My boyfriend and I purchased our tree frogs and frilly from 480 pythons at the Phoenix Repticon. Brian and his wife are some really awesome people that put up with our many questions and continue to do so. Anywho, they suffered a tragic loss via RV fire on their way to one of the shows, and I wanted to try to help them out and spread the word. I know I got a bit teary-eyed when listening:

For those of you that don't feel like listening to the whole thing, the short version is that some amazingly nice and helpful people lost everything they had, their home, their pets, their inventory, their personal belongings. Everything. Over $30,000 in balls. alone.
If you guys can spare anything to help them get back on their feet, I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it. I know I'm planning on donating a little something when my next paycheck comes in.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Thats horrible. I know how they feel. Not about the animals but my house burnt down to the ground in 2011. My family and I lost everything. We had no insurance on our belongings so we truly lost everything. Its so hard. But you get through it. Its tuff but you just gotta fight through it.
Luckily all the animals got out except a turtle.
I feel horrible for these guys. I defiantly shed a few tears for them. But it gets better.
What matters the most is that you still have your family and your life.

Oh wow, that's heartbreaking. Hopefully the community will rally around them and help out. Thanks for spreading the word. I remember a few years back someone in the guinea pig community (The Cozy Cavy) lost their home and many of their animals in one of the tornadoes that hit Alabama. People were really wonderful about helping her out. I can't even imagine what going through something like that is like.

Yes, it's a terrible situation, I just wanted to try and help them out, get their story out there and hopefully get some donations sent over so they can get back on their feet. I know times are tough right now, but if you can give anything, even simply a kind word and send your prayers their way, it would mean a lot.

At the USARK auction in Pomona, the community donated to them with a special auction just allocated for 480's recovery.
I spoke to them at the show several times, and they are extremely grateful for the community helping out in a time of need.
They will be back and bigger then ever.
