    Mite life cycle?

I picked a new snake last Saturday and he appears to be settling in fine in the QT rack.

I have never had mites before so I was curious as to how long after you acquire a snake would you see mites? How long for eggs to hatch? He's a albino so I'm assuming it would be easier to see than on say my het albino. I have no reason to suspect anything and its going to sound weird but I had a dream about a mite outbreak so now it has me thinking

Listen to your dreams, sometimes your brain picks up on things you don't even realize.

    Thanks for the link!

I'm hoping its just my mind working overtime with the holidays. I have not seen anything and I visually check on the snakes daily and also change the water every other day and change paper towels even if they are not dirty every few days so I'm hoping I would be able to catch them early if mites are present.

Typically mites don't lay on the snake they typically lay in substrate of outside all together.
