I am so excited. I got my first snake on Sunday. 2 1/2 year old BCI, 5 ft long, and a BIG BABY!!!! I have him in a big rubbermaid (ordering cages). I woke up this morning to my present. I was sooo happy. I got my boa from Alan Bosch and he said he eats like a champ so I am going to feed tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

Alan Bosch is a good guy. I met him at the Birmingham show and I and my group bought three ball pythons from him. Congrats on your new buddy!

present was in refrence to Gen's post about getting a present - or that her snake dropped a deuce (defecated). My little guy still hasn't and he's got two mice in his tummy so it can't be too much longer, I'll get some pics for the Rand Man.

Indeed Jonah, now i KNOW that we would get along grandly!!! "Drop a deuce" is also my very favorite expression for excreting metabolical waste from my colorectal area, if you will.
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?
