Big Papa Bear
First two pic's are of him soaking right after getting here......The third picture show's the burns on it's belly.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....
....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.

Wow....he's really pretty! Beautiful colors!! Looks pretty laid back, too...at least I don't see any signs of balling up or striking in those pics.
I have no idea how bad those burns are...but hopefully they're not as bad as they look. Poor guy! I hope Rusty sees this and can give you a good idea of how serious those are and the best ways to treat them.

From what I can see, the burns are long but not severe. I'll bet you $5 it's bareley detectable after two sheds as long as you use neosporin daily and avoid soaking. I know you can rehabilitate him.

She / he is in much better hands now.
May I suggest a great product that we keep on hand at all times for situations such as the one your new bp is in.
It is called 1% Silver Sulfadiazine Cream. It is by perscription only. But if you have a cool vet, you may be able to just call for it. Unsure, depends on your vet.
But it would work wonderfully for that tummy of his.
Good luck, I hope he does well.
I know he must love his new home
Rusty
PS whats his name??
