    Does anyone one use Fat Rat blocks?

    I buy this food in 50lb bag bulk from a local feed store I was wondering of anyone knows anything about it? the active ingredients are close to Mazuri I think but it's a darker brown in color attached is a pic of the label

    Not familiar with that one. I have been breeding rats for only four years, but have always used 6F5M30. $21.00 for a 50 lb.bag. I go through one bag a week. I can take a picture of a label this Saturday if you want...

    Star millings isnt too bad... A lil high in fat but work.... I used this 1st before switching to western millings... And I have found they actually prefer the westen millings got about 60 rats and been on new food for 2 months and still a few of star millings in the hoppers almost like tey are picking around them.. Thts not to say its bad... I was also getting an average of 12 per litter while using it annd now its up to 13-14 ish

    Seems less dense also and alot oiler due to fat im assuming

    you know I am averaging about 11-12 right now on star milling

    Any new fallow ups? I also just got a bag of Star. I like how easier it is for them to eat through the 1/2 inch screen tops.
