    32q vision rack

A guy posted the 10 slot 32q vision rack for super cheap.
I know the sterilite #1756 tubs are discontinued but is there a replacement that fits? I emailed vision but I thought you guys would be faster. Meeting him in a few hours.

    Thanks!!

    Got an email back.

The 1755 tubs work or you can buy spacers to fit the v-28 tub.

Why, because it's an open rack?

I have snakes that need slots.

    Re: 32q vision rack

I have a 28 qt vision rack and it has worked great for me. Keeps temps and humidity great especially this time of the year. I don't have to drill holes in the tubs because there is enough air flow with the ventilated shelves. Heat cable also works great along with being able to view my ballz from all 4 sides. Just an fyi...

    I picked it up.
It's pretty much brand new and for a $100 I couldn't pass it up.

Like I said I need some slots asap and just don't have enough saved for a new rack.

Got it home and took it apart. It seems very well made. Going to give it a good cleaning then put it to work.

Came with some heat cable that was never used and a t-stat.

If nothing else it will get me by for now.

I see that there are all kinds of ways to run the heat cable. How do you have yours set up? Could you take a pic if you have some free time?

    Re: 32q vision rack

Not the greatest on posting pics. i purchased my used and went to lllreptiles.com and clicked on the vision racks section. There is a photo of how they ran the heat cable. I basically did the same and have had the best results with temps. I just adjusted the lowest rack because it's cooler then the others by adding a couple more loops of the cable. Hope this helps and let us knows how it goes......

Cool, I'll check it out. I feel if it's not holding temps, I'll just enclose the sides.

It will be a few days because I still need to get tubs.

    Thanks!

Where do you put the t-stat probe?

I got a few tubs and have it running empty right now.
