    Thinkin of gettin a blood

Depends upon species. We got a lot of blood owners here who can help you with your every need. Kara would be the go-to girl for blood pythons, and info on them.

I personally don't own a Blood but I can help ya with that cause I've researched on them.
What they eat: Rats, mice, & rabbits.
How Big: 5-6' on average usually 4.5-5'
Temperment: variable temperaments, some can be quite calm and docile, others are high-strung, nervous, and quick to bite.
    Life Span: +20yrs in captivity.
Eggs: average clutch sizes 18-30 eggs.
Heating: 85-90 daytime and night-time cool of around 75.
    Humidity: 70-80%
Hope I covered everything you were looking to have covered up but maybe someone on the site can give you they're personal experiences with the snake as I've only handled at Pet Stores and some expos. Sorry but I'm not sure of a good deal on these guys my guess would be around $90-110.

Short Tails are great in my opinion, Ive got a Sumatran STP and I love this species so far. Very inquisitive, very alert, (dont move much when not out of the enclosure so dont expect a zippy snake) and a very confident snake IMO. Mine thus far has been a pleasure to work with, has a killer feeding response. If I had one complaint about him is he pees like a horse, when he gos you know it!
