Nice choice for a first, eh. What are you thinking name wise?
Assuming you already have a surface temp infrared thermometer, get a couple cheap analogs you can move around at snake level. It will give you peace of mind to see temps in many places at once. Your temps are fine, it's clutter you might think about.
