She is probably about 3 or 4 years old. I am not exactly sure. A guy who I knew from my local pet store gave her to me when he left for the Marines two years ago. He didn't have a whole lot of info for me, He kinda droped off his BP collection of 7 snakes and I haven't heard from him since.

Good luck with those eggs! Are you planning on linebreeding them when they're old enough or will you be selling them off?

I will be keeping some females and a male pied (if I get lucky) and sell the remaining babies.

If I understood you right, you won't get any pieds out of this generation. If both the females were normal, you'll get possible hets that you'll need to breed back to their father to prove out. If either of the females is het for pied, then you have a chance of hatching some. With the albino...if the female is het and the male is albino (as we've already seen!)...then you've got a chance to hatch some albino babies. Good luck!!!

Well I think I finally have a handle on the genetics thing.

    My 100% het pied x 100% pied gives me 25%pied, 50%poss. het and 25%normal.

Normal x het pied will give me 50% het pied and 50% normal.

Albino x 100% het albino will give me 50% albino and 50% het albino.

Albino x normal will give me 100% het albinos.

Now thats if the numbers play true, on the basis of 4 eggs. I have talked to people who have got no pieds from a het to het breeding and I have also talked to another person who got 5 pieds out of 5 eggs from a het to het breeding. It's all a numbers game. I hope the numbers are in my favor. Cross your fingers. I would love to get 2 pied males. I would keep one and sell one to try and pay off my reptile credit cards. My husband is freaking out. He's not addicted yet.
