    Atb ?

Will this work for a amazon tree boa?

I will put a sheet of plexi where the screen is.

Add a few perches at different levels, and it should work out. Run it for a while after you swap out the screen to see how it holds heat/humidity. I've got my ATB in an acrylic cage that's sort of similar looking, and it's been working out well.

    Re: Atb ?

Some people use flexwatt under the tank, but that's only for heating the water contained in the substrate to raise the humidity--flexwatt won't work for a hotspot.

Instead of doing a single piece of plexi on top, I did 2 rectangles and a square so humidity holds well and I use a lamp on a dimmer for a hotspot on the perch. I would also recommend removable perches of some kind. I use pvc mounted with closet hanger type brackets so when I need to handle I can remove the whole perch and let her come off in her own time. The majority of my bites were taken from trying to remove her from a fixed perch inside the cage. Hope this helps! You should check out amazon-alliance.com too, they are a great atb resource!

This is a bit late but I kept my ATB in a Zoo Med naturalistic (biggest size) I only kept one small UTH for 10gs on the side where he perched and it kept the enclosure at the right heat and he never had a problem with shedding. Your enclosure looks fine but you might need to upgrade later on depending how big he/she gets. Females can get up to 9' but they're usually around 7'
