    Red face My best buddy

I went hiking with my sister and my dog last weekend. Here are some photos I got of my puppy.

We made him carry the water.

    I love this one.

I love the one where hes looking out over the water. Whats he carrying the water with? It looks like special doggy saddle bags or something.

Gorgeous dog! How does your dog do with giving him a task? I have wanted to try and do this with my dog when we go for walks and hikes.

It looks like its one of these bags? Or one like it

How does he like it I wanted to get one for my dog but she likes to roll around in leaves and saplings she knocks over so not sure if they would hold up to her.

Love the pics where he's on the rock, with water below, looks like he's "on top of the world".

Thank you everyone. I love my pup. He's such a good dog.

I have a dog backpack for him similar to the one Carlson posted. http://www.amazon.com/Kyjen-Outward-.../dp/B003MU9OUW

He doesn't particular enjoy the backpack, but he tolerates it well. The worst part is making sure the backpack stays evenly balanced so it doesn't lean to one side. He's also trained to walk at my side so he almost took my knees out a few times when he bumped into me with it. My dog doesn't roll so that wasn't an issue, he did try to shake it off at one point but a simple no from me was the end of that.

This was our first time hiking with the backpack but we will definitely be using it again. It seemed to tire him out more which is great because he seems to have an endless supply of energy.
