haha you thought I was going to feed them to my animals? No, I feed them to myself. I am simply posting to share my complete satisfaction with the postachio nut. It is delicious and fun to remove from the shell. I'm not sure if they are ins season (do legumes have a season?) or what, but I gotta tell you they are delicious and I have been seeing them on sale at quite a few grocery stores -go pick some up!
Also for a tasty treat over asparagus or whatever put some butter in a pan and heat it up so that it is pretty hot, near frying. Then add a handfull or two of postachios and cook them in the butter until the color changes a bit darker. Then salt and pepper and enjoy alone or on other foods. Delicious!

Mmmm cashews! Those are good. Or roasted peanuts or the ones with the honey coating. Or walnuts. Or pecans. Or brazil nuts. Or sunflower or pumpkin seeds. Or pretty much any nuts except for almonds and pistachios.

Anything but Filbert's. Cashew's are the best followed closely by Pecans and salted peanut's in shell then sunflower seeds.....
