    Love is in the air

My first 2 locks of the season. Who doesn't like a little snakey love for Halloween?

Congrats monica! Not to derail your thread but the Q seems appropriate:
Is it ok to just open the tub while theyre in together/locked up? This sounds really pervy but idk how else to put it lol. What i mean is the male wont like pull out really fast and hurt himself or the female will he? Peeping in on them doesnt disrupt the magic haha?

I slide the tub out very slowly and peek in. If I see a lock, I slide it out the rest of the way very slowly to get a pic, then slowly slide it back. If you don't move too quickly you won't spook or upset them and they won't even budge.

My champ male is the biggest chicken and even he doesn't flinch when he's locked up if I open the tub. But that's as far as I go, I won't touch him until he lets go.

OP what's the pairing? Green pastel's?

Just blackback cinnys until proven otherwise. That's the purpose of these pairings. I originally paired a normal dark cinny to a blackback female of unknown origin that I'd purchased to dink around with. All 7 babies inherited her "gene", whatever that may be. There were 3 normal blackbacks and 4 blackback cinnys. As of right now they appear to be blush back blackbacks. A blackback gene that simply lightens and improves the looks of other morphs while adding more of a blackback pattern and more blushing and flames.

I'm pairing my holdback cinny pair and that male back to the dam to be sure there isn't anything else going on. Such as a possible super form, or since the dam was from an unknown origin, any recessives hiding in there.

If all else fails, at least I'll have more great looking blush back blackback cinnys

My only worry with the pairing of the holdbacks is getting a malformed super cinny. I'm praying to the odds gods that I do get a super cinny, but that it's perfect with no issues.
