    Persuading mom and dad...

So, I really want a pet rat, this girl I know has one she is wanting to get rid of, and I really want it, how can I persuade my parents?

Small, cheaper than most pets, less noise than a dog, and of you feed them good food and clean often then don't smell!

I would suggest getting two of the same sex though, they enjoy the company

that's going to be tough since most people dislike rats, but showing them the positive side of owning a rat might convince them.

Well, my dad says he plans on building me a room for snakes, snake racks, reptiles, etc. I think ill keep the rats in my room though, but then again the room could be a 2 year project, he likes to procrastinate, maybe it's just a dream of his....
