Well we had the boys out this morning my wife had Bob and I had Nanners. All of a sudden my wife says honey listen to this and she held Bob up to my ear and he was wheezing a little bit . So I looked on the internet found a vet and we are leaving here in a few minutes. I am gonna go ahead and take both of them in just to be safe. The only good thing is that the vet to look at both of them is only gonna charge $38 bucks.

Unfortunately we have no pooh to bring in as well to be inspected but that will have to wait until a later date. Please wish us luck I am worried about my boys . I will check in when we get back thanks.

Awww, good luck MacWin! I am sure that Bob & Nanners will be just fine!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

Well we just got back the vet we went to was just down the street I didn't even know there was a vet in the strip mall lol. He checked them both out and said everything looked good. He opened Bobs mouth (which he did not like very much) listened to his lungs and held and inspected both of them very closely and said they were both in good health.

It's funny how I got so worried so fast like it was one of my kids. So my fears are all taken care off and all the slithery people are back in their houses relaxing.

Very good news. I hope this vet is very familiar with reptiles and that his assessment is on the spot.

My gosh darn Mommy ears, the snake was sniffing my ear and I actually heard him breathe. I had to send my 4 year old out of the room because I thought that it was him. I never in my entire life think that I could fall in love with a snake. I am looking forward to spending the next 30-40 years (hopefully) helping take care of Bob and little nanners. The vet seemed to know what he was doing said that he worked in an animal hospital that dealt with all sorts of creatures and snakes as well. He seemed impressed with how well MrMacWin takes care of the snakes. He even commented on how warm Bob felt. He said most snakes that he has held were ice cold. I don't think he took into account that he had just pulled him off of my warm arm. I am just an over protective mom, I never thought that I would be that way with a snake that is for sure. Thanks for all of your well wishes. I know that I don't post much but I do listen to what every one says and have a lot of respect for all the people here. I am just learning about snakes and am quite glad that we have found this web sight to find out more about the cold blooded creatures that I am growing quite fond of.

    .

Better to take them to the vet when they don't need to go than not take them when they do need to. We all understand here your wanting to take care of your snakes and keep them healthy, even if other family and friends might not.
