Little rat, Hua.2010-2013
[pronounced "Hwah"]
I have kept pet rats since I was nine years old. My friend and I both had female rats, she had to surrender them to me because if a bad family situation. I have had this one old rat for about a year in my care. She was out on the floor, having escaped the cage. I had a little barrier up even, because I had her free-ranging a second ago. Well, the greyhound got her...she parilyzed her I think, she died almost instantly, in my arms. Poor thing, she died doing her favorite thing, skulking around the room. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear. What did you do with the dog immediately after? I would have probably lost it on the dog even though it wasn't the dog's fault.

Well, I completley ignored the fact she just killed her I was kind of in shock, and it completley was my fault. I left the rat out while I went to do some random thing, and this greyhound has killed wild rats before, and been praised for it...I think it was a wrong time, wrong place moment.
