you are right, they are very cool. And if experienced enough, any snake makes a good pet. As for JCP's go, i have only seen one in person and it was pretty aggressive. But don't base your decision on that one. any snake can be hissy.

Carpets make great pets. Jungles and Irian Jayas are probably the better of the Carpets, if only because of their size (between 4-7 feet).....Coastals can get over 10 feet. They sre typically nippy as babies but with handling they calm down nicely.

    typically nippy as babies
In my personal experience with Carpets I have found them all to be nippy as babies as well. However I personally find the Costals to be a more aggressive snake. With the IJ's I've found them to be more of a tameable snake that with regular handling they become "friendly" and handleable, making them a more not advanced but intermediate skill level of a snake. As for the Costal I'd say they are more of a higher-ended Intermdiate/Advanced skilled Keepers snake. But like I said thats just my PERSONAL opinion. If anyone has a different view I'd love to hear it as I like to know what others think in relation to me.

Given the fundage I'd like to bring home a coastal, but I think that'd take a back seat to a scrub.
