Well, I bathed everyone a few days ago, and while each snake was bathing, I stripped each tank and sprayed 100% rubbing alcohol into it, scrubbed, and rinsed well with a hose. Today I tried soaking the boa or awhile and came up with no floating things in the water. I don't want to get too happy, but I hopefully have done a number on the tick population, if not killed it all off. I'm going to soak the big guy, Octavia, and Goblin tonight to see what comes of it. Please wish me luck!

Do you think it's too stressful to soak the Bps every night?

I dunno....it may depend on the bp. A particularly laid back snake who typically likes his bath anyhow might not be too bothered by it. But a stressy guy who also doesn't like the water might feel a bit traumatized. Guess you just have to judge the individual and weigh the merits of soaking vs the risks of missing some ticks. :?
I'm not much help, am I?

I had to soak Snyder every night for a good while to fight her dehydration and avoid a mite resurgence and she became quite fond of her baths. I think they'll be fine as long as you watch the water temp and give them an opportunity to feel secure while bathing.
