Couple pics of my baby girl.

This is Peanut, she's pushing 14 years old. Gorgeous as ever, especially for a normal. Notice how she only has one single spot of brown/black that isn't connected. Only one I've ever seen like that. Very rare.

    What a beautiful mature lady!

You seldom see pictures of ball pythons who are up there in age, and I love it when people share their mature snakes.

Has she ever bred for you? She has such a lovely reduced pattern, she's the kind of girl I would choose for myself.

Nope, never bred. She was my first python ever. Given too me by an ex girlfriend as a surprise when a king snake I had got loose and wasn't found. She had no clue what she was buying, nor did she have a clue she was starting me down a long path of addiction! I love my pythons to death, but am more partial to boas. However, if someone asks me to see one of my snakes... This girl, Peanut is the one I choose to bring out. She's so docile you wouldn't believe it. Even enjoys having her chin (or lower lip) stroked gently. Only hiccup I've ever had with her was one time she bit my mother's dog on the back. I was sitting with my legs propped up and Peanut was stretched out across my legs. The dog walked under my legs and got popped right in the back. She didn't try to hang on or coil, so I think it just startled her. I like to think she was trying to protect me...

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
