    Puffers and my stupidity.

So the other day we bought some new live rock for the gf saltwater tank and I, being the saltwater idiot i am, asked if we could get a puffer fish. well little did I know that they are not the nicest of fish and they are also not reef safe. so we put him in the tank and he instantly starts biting everything in sight along with some of the smaller fish so we had to throw him in to 'jail' a nano salt tank that luckly has nothing in it atm.

lol fish jail! Eh no big deal, saltwater fish tanks are such a touchy thing. I had a 90gal with yellow tangs, damsels, bamboo cat shark, and a few others I can't really remember. I have had an itch to start another tank but it won't be anything bigger than a 10gal.

Count yourself lucky that you watched him biting things. I know of a lady years ago whose husband got her a cute little puffer as a surprise present. He plopped it into her seahorse tank and she got home to absolute carnage several hours later. I don't know if she ever got any more seahorses and she had some really gorgeous ones.
