I was just having a conversation with my neighbor and I was telling him that I have to clean Nanners cage again he pooped again. I swear that little guy is a poop factory lol. But he asked me if he eats on the same schedule (once a week every monday) as Bob my Ball Python.

I answered yes he does but now that I think about it should he be eating more than one pinkie a week for a while or no? I also measured him today he is 14 inches long and he has about the same girth as a number 2 pencil. I did not get his specific date of hatch lol when I bought him I guess I should have if I had to guess I would say he is maybe 1 or 2 months old.

So should he be eating more than one pinkie a week? And is pooping that much normal when they are little? I guess I am used to Bob he usually just has one big crap all at once lol. Thanks in advance for any replies.

We feed all our snakes every Saturday. I figure if they are eating prey that is the right size for them, they shouldn't need to eat any more or less frequently, regardless of their size. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

And just for the record, most of the defecate in one form or another on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
