Local Government with an Open Mind to Snakes

    http://www.norwichbulletin.com/newsn...#axzz26Lx2DaMJ

It is good to see some government officials taking the time to learn about an issue and then make an educated decision about it as opposed to the knee jerk reaction that got four species of amazing creatures banned from import and interstate transfer. In my eyes it is a small victory for keepers and breeders of snakes in the face of the recent addition of the 4 species of snakes to the Lacey Act. Now all that I'd like to do is get my hands on the person that filed the "smell complaint." From the way it was presented I believe that it was simply a snake hater that filed a complaint to keep this man from pursuing a hobby and business that had no impact on that individual aside from forcing them to face their irrational and IDIOTIC fear of snakes. Sorry, just wanted to vent that. LOL

Thanks for sharing this. I wish complaints against keepers and breeders ended this well more often.
