    Fact or Fiction

I've heard that if a BP has a lot of white outlining in its blotching or aliens, it's a good indication that the snake is an import from Africa rather than captive bread. Is this true or just a myth?

That's a new one to me. I'd call that a myth, 100%. Fact is, ball pythons....the "normal" non-morphy sort....are extremely variable in appearance. Whether captive bred or plucked from the wild.

I have 3 that have white outlining their pattern that I am positive were not wild caught. I would have to say that is a myth.

I've never heard that one before. I heard that if they have a lot of white creeping up their sides along the dark areas, it could be a marker for het albino. I think it's about as reliable as any other "het" markers though.
