I was thinking of getting my son one.
He is not to much in to our bp cause he sleeps most of the time my son is awake and vice versa
I think he would dig a beardie.
Where is a good place to buy one and what type of set up is needed??

Thanks guys! Ya'll are all so sweet!!!

Jotay...I would highly recommend you call a guy named Will Oakley. He lives down in Woodbridge, so it wouldn't be too much of a drive for you to go out there and pick one out yourself like I did. He's got two more the same size as mine (both males) and a whole bunch of younger ones. He was very helpful and very patient with us, letting us hold several...even one of his breeders, so the kids could get a good idea of how he'll grow up. His prices are the best I've seen and WAY better than you'd find at any pet store.

For a set-up...I'm staring out with a 20-Long...but he'll need a 55 or so when he's fully grown. The most expensive parts of the setup are the tank and the lights. They must have a UVB light and a heat source that provides a basking area of ~110*. If you check out the Lizard Care area of our Caresheets, you'll find a link to a very thorough set of care sheets. I spent about $200 on my set-up.
