    1st litter ever! - Surinames - Excited!

Woke up this morning to my first litter ever!! So excited! Mom was from Bob Futo. Father was from Adam Campbell, which parents were: Futo and wild caught pairing.

Momma snake trying to get her babies out of their sacs and moving. She was determined to get them up and going.

    After I got momma out:

Later on, after I got the babies out:

13 live babies, 2 slugs, and 2 stillbirths. First time mother and first time breeder for me. I am excited and can't wait for these babies to shed and start coloring up!

    Momma a few days ago:

    Daddy:

I hope you enjoy! I sure am!

Can't wait to get individual pictures of them after they shed!

Surinames are so awesome congrats!! I've read somewhere that BCCs are much harder to breed than the typical BCI, is this true?

    Big congrats!!!

Yes the BCC of boas are tougher to breed... I breed both BCI and BCC, lots of patience with both.

I have heard this also but since I can't vouch for experience, I can say that she went pretty textbook. I had a lot of questions as I didn't know what I was looking at. Other than that though she read the boa breeding manual and followed it to a T. She even gave birth on her due date.
