I've done it now!

Well, folks, I spent a good bit of my weekend building a crested gecko enclosure which is now nearly complete (the paint still needs to dry and I need to attach the doors).

When I got home from picking up more frozen mousies for the kids, I checked ks classifieds to find that ReptileDepot has a St. Paddy's Day special on baby cresties, 2 for $69.99, so I ordered them. I also ordered crickets and crested gecko diet while I was at it, so that I'll be prepared to feed them when they get here, aside from the baby food I'll be picking up tomorrow.

Hooray! Of course, I will be taking and uploading pics of both the enclosure and the cresties to share.

Thanks, y'all. When the paint is dry and I attach the doors, I'll definitely put up photos and since there's interest, I'll describe the assembly process as well. I'll probably wait til tomorrow to finish it since it's already dark out and the legless kiddies need to eat, and I hope the cresties will show up on Tuesday.
