Although still JUST under the 3' mark our AfRock Neph showed her appetite today - verge of shed notwithstanding. She pounced on the first and janked it back into her water bowl and consumed it almost entirely underwater. Identity crisis - I guess she thinks she is an anaconda. I offered a second since she always seems to hunt around after her meal as if looking for more. Her feeding response was still jacked sky-high and THWAK! down went rodento numero dos.

She's looking quite blissed out basking there now, wearing a big s***-eating grin . . . 'atta girl!

I'll post some not-so-close-up ones after I can recharge the cam and download some pics.

Hehe yep - I've heard the tales, beleive me. She gets max handling and will continue to. Not a mean bone in her body yet - but very fast, active and inquisitive. She'll gow up to be a very big girl and I want her to retain her friendly attitude - especially considering whe'n she's a big girl she'll be sporting choppers like this:
