I need info on reef tanks!!

My Wife is setting up a reef tank and I have no idea what shes talking about half the time and I am in dire need of asistance on what needs to be done. my main question is how long are you supposed to wait to add the dead rock in with your live rock?

You don't have to wait any time. It's the live rock that needs to "cure" and adding dead rock at any time will not hurt.

    x2

The longer you wait to add the dead rock the longer it might be before you can add anything else as a lot of dead rock will leach phosphates and other bad things into the aquarium. Join reefcentral. Hope I can say that lol..

Just make sure you let that rock establish and the tank cycle before adding any critters. Then slowly start adding hermits, snails and such to keep everything in order then corals and fish, but remember slowly once the tank is established because you could always throw it into another cycle by overloading it with fish and such.
