Captive bred are much less likely to have parasites nd are more likely to adapt well to being captive-kept. Almost all imports have internal parasites even if they get treated for the external ones.

Ditto what Marla said.
Imported=unhealthy, expensive vet bills, problematic all-around.
CBB=Probably healthy and much less likely to be problematic.
By the way......CH (Captive hatched) is the same thing as Imported/Wild Caught. CB (Captive Born) is not as good as CBB (Captive Born AND Bred) either.

One more difference: you may pay more for cbb or cb, unless you get it from a pet store, in which case you're typically paying more than that for an import.

But it's worth it, right David?

Oh yes, most definitely worth it.

From what I've heard imported balls are much more likely to have feeding problems, too.

Yeah, please avoid buying a bp frrom a pet store. Unless they're a really good reptile shop, it'll probably be infested with ticks. And the scarey thing is, you often don't find the ticks until about a week after you bring the snake home. Then you call the store and they deny it is their fault and try to make more money by selling you some tick medication.
