San Diego, where do you get your f/t rats?

Title says it all. LLL prices are a bit much, but it seems shipping to CA for the online dealers I looked in to is a little silly as well.

    Any suggestions?

Is breeding your own an option? You take superb care of your snakes so i could see you getting a good operation going... Plus when you go to breed you'd have a nice supply of live by then for the babies

I would rather not breed and add another job...

I have considered it, but there has to be a fairly local supplier. Even if I have to drive to LA once every couple of months to pick them up. I may try and set something up for the Anaheim show next month.

Try contacting Randy F on Fauna, he's in San Diego...may be able to point you in the right direction. Otherwise, just saw some guy on Facebook the other day saying he ships f/t free on orders over $300.

Hey brother do you remember who he is?

To the OP: I buy in bulk from Rodent Pro. Every box comes all the way here still rock solid! Shipping is a bit much, but when you buy in bulk its still fairly cheap overall. I recently started my own small breeding colonies as well and couldn't be happier. Its worth it man.

    Have you tried http://www.laynelabs.com/ ?

That's who I use. Shipping is cheaper than Rodent Pro for Cali residents.
